Bryan Martel

Bryan Martel is Founder and Managing Director of the Environmental Capital Group (ECG).  ECG works closely with limited partner trustees and executives, fund managers and general partner groups to provide environmental due diligence, performance monitoring, and reporting services that account for the real environmental impacts created by investments in clean energy and technology.

Bryan serves as Special Advisor to Pacific Corporate Group and the CalPERS Clean Energy and Technology Fund. In this role he is involved in the selection process and monitoring of environmental performance of these private equity investments.

Recognizing the need for material amounts of capital to impact climate change on a global scale, Bryan worked with Uday Khemka, HRH The Prince of Wales, and the University of Cambridge's Programme for Industry to establish in 2007 the P8 ("Pensions 8.")  He currently serves on the P8 advisory committee.
