Greg A. Kinczewski provides the Marco Consulting Group with legal counsel and is in charge of its proxy voting service. The Marco Consulting Group is a registered investment to more than 300 institutional investors with an aggregate asset valuation of $120 billion. Its proxy voting service analyzes and votes on shareholder issues at more than 4,500 U.S. and foreign companies each year.
Prior to joining the Marco Consulting Group in 1991, Greg reported on the White House, Congress and the Pentagon, and served as a press aide on U.S. Congressman Abner J. Mikva’s Congressional staff as well as a Field Director for Mikva’s campaign staff. He served as a Democratic Committeeman in Cook County, Illinois for eight years and was Co-Chairman of the Progressive Chicago Area Network (PROCAN) for five years. He wrote a novel, Into The Arena, based on his political experiences.
He has litigated cases before the Illinois and Federal trial, appellate and supreme courts and was general counsel to several private and municipal corporations. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in journalism from Northwestern University and a J.D. degree from DePaul Law School.
