Vahe Danielyanr
Deputy Minister of Economy, Republic of Armenia
In 1992 Mr. Danielyan entered Yerevan State Institute of National Economy, Department of State Regulation of Economy. After graduating with excellence he received the qualification of an economist. In the same year he entered post-graduate studies as an applicant in the Department of Macroeconomics of YINE.
From 1996 to1997, Mr. Danielyan worked at the CBA Monitory Policy Department first as an expert, then a chief expert. From 1997 to 1998, he worked at the Economic Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. In 1998, according to the order of the President of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, he was appointed head of the State Department for Statistics, State Registry and Analysis of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. From 2001, he was the director of the Development Agency of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.
In August, 2001, by the order of the President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Danielyan was appointed a member to the State Council on Statistics of the Republic of Armenia and was subsequently re-appointed in 2006. In the period between 1995 and 1998 he was engaged in social activities being first a member of the International Association of Students and Young Economists (AIESEC), then the chair of local and national committees. In 2007 Mr. Danielyan was appointed as Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
