Jonathan Blitz is a has a background in ceramics, mechanical equipment design, business and law. As co-inventor of the Megahelion drive and other USS technologies, Blitz has led USS product development since the Company's founding. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Blitz spent five years in management at a ceramics equipment and materials supply company and is a specialist in ceramic process heating technologies and functional ware production. Blitz has experience in the design, operation and maintenance of gas, electric and oil process heating systems. A proponent of alternatives to fossil fuels, Blitz has logged over 70,000 miles in a diesel light truck, modified to burn straight vegetable oil.

In 2002, Blitz graduated cum laude from St. Louis University's School of Law, and served a two-year appointment as law clerk to a Senior United States Judge in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He is licensed to practice before federal and state courts in Missouri, Illinois and North Carolina, and closed an active litigation practice to devote his full time to USS in 2008. Blitz is credited as an inventor of all of the pending patents related to USS technology.
