Global Leadership and Innovation Summits
Every year, Athgo invites members of its Scholar Network to attend the annual Global Leadership and Innovation Summit. The location rotates amongst Athgo's Innovation and Capacity Building Centers (ICBCs) and is held in conjunction with a Global Forum.
The highly interactive experience focuses on the decision development process, including strategic planning, multi-level negotiations, and partnership building and management. The experience lasts well over a month and includes a full week of exploratory activities at the facilities of the hosting ICBC. An online community is established weeks in advance to facilitate communication and provide access to relevant policy proposals, solutions and other applicable material. More formal programs take place the week leading up to and immediately following the week-long, in-person summit. While at the ICBC members of the Scholar Network work in collaboration with the ICBC Scholars and field experts to explore innovative solutions that address the multitude of economic development issues and the feasibility of implementing the proposals/resolutions drafted at the preceding year's Athgo programs.

The 2008 Global Leadership and Innovation Summit will take place at our ICTs and high-tech ICBC in Yerevan, Armenia.
