Vartan Melidonian Excellence Scholar – LA 2006 B.A., History, University of California – Riverside J.D. Candidate, Whittier Law School (California)

Vartan Melidonian was born and raised in Los Angeles. He studied History, with a concentration in European History and worked in the banking industry for a couple of years before deciding to pursue a law degree. He recently completed his first year of law school and spent the summer in Toulouse, France as part of Whittier’s Summer Study Abroad program.

In addition to his legal studies, Vartan is working to gain practical experience by volunteering at The Najarian Law Firm and the Law offices of Julia Sklar. He just completed his first year of law school and will spend the Summer in Toulouse, France as part of Whittier Law School’s summer abroad program.

“My first exposure to Athgo was at the 2006 Los Angeles Forum. I was extremely gratified of my entire experience throughout the forum. I met many wonderful and intelligent people, who I still keep in touch with them.

Athgo is a great outlet for young students and professionals to gain exposure and knowledge from so many experienced professionals in wide array of fields or careers. It is great place to meet and learn from experienced professionals and dignitaries from all over the world. By winning the Excellence award at the 2006 forum in Los Angeles, I have received special recognition from my school and I have brought pride to the Whittier Law School Community. I am looking forward with great enthusiasm to the Geneva Summit.”
