ATHGO International Associates Program

Associates Program

Are you tired of saying "I can't get a job because everyone wants me to have work experience, but how am I supposed to get work experience if no one will give me a job!" ATHGO's Associates Program provides dynamic opportunities for students and young professionals who are looking to gain some practical work experience while working for an international organization. Our Associates will manage large scale projects, develop real business plans that will contribute to our expansion and growth, and interact with experts who fall within their area of study and/or region of expertise.

Ideal candidates will not be intimidated by the prospect of working with senior executives in the private sector, world renowned scientists and experts, and representatives from international institutions. Associates should expect to devote 10-15 hours per week to their project, with the likelihood that the commitment will increase around deadlines. Associates will be working closely with ATHGO's executive team and members of our various boards and councils, depending upon the assignment. They will also be expected to plan their time wisely and delegate tasks to their assigned interns.

While there are no employment guarantees with the organization and these are unpaid positions, ATHGO strives to hire from within due to the organization’s objective of employing scholars and entrepreneurs who have demonstrated strong interest in global affairs and commitment to the mission of ATHGO. Therefore, this is a great way to get your proverbial foot in the door at ATHGO.
